Hexodia — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Hexodia application (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information. We respect your privacy and aim to be transparent about our data practices.
1. Information the App processes
Online gameplay data. If you use online features (create/join rooms, matchmaking, online games), the App processes and transmits information needed to operate multiplayer gameplay, such as:
- nickname (chosen by you)
- room code and game language
- game state (moves, scores, board state)
- a device identifier used to maintain the session
- push token (if notifications are enabled)
IP address. When the App communicates with backend services, servers and infrastructure providers typically process your IP address as part of normal internet communications, security, and logging.
Advertising ID / IDFA (Advertising Identifier). The App displays advertising using the Appodeal SDK. Appodeal and its partners may collect and process information such as your advertising identifier (e.g., Apple’s IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), IP address, and other technical identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.

2. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the App (including online multiplayer), to maintain and secure our services, to deliver push notifications (if enabled), and to display advertising.
3. Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help operate the App, including:
- Appodeal (advertising, measurement, fraud prevention)
- Expo (push notification delivery)
- hosting/infrastructure providers (for online gameplay services)
4. Retention
Online gameplay data is retained only as long as necessary to operate online matches and may be automatically removed after inactivity and/or after the game ends (retention may be up to 24 hours after game end). Locally stored settings remain on your device.
5. Your choices
You can disable push notifications in your device settings. You can also reset or limit the use of your advertising identifier in your device settings (availability depends on platform and OS version).
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be available at the same link.
